Wonderful and heart warming

Dear Mike,
I read your article about Santa and I was especially touched by the
line that "Santa does not compete with Bethlehem's Baby and that if Christ
could take even pagan customs and bring good out of them, then He is truly
Lord of all creation. (OK, so I paraphrased)
Anyway, I read that you used to write for the paper in Amarillo. I live
with my wife and daughter (4) in San Antonio where I teach fifth grade.
I am 44. At this point in my life, I am going through my midlife by asking
all the standard questions that any thinking person asks about spirituality,
marriage, career, and the like. I am neither frightened nor depressed about
them, at least
not any more. To deal with these questions, and with loving encouragement,
I am writing my first book. It's a novel about (you guessed) a married
couple dealing with all of life's midlife questions and their resolutions.
I'm only about 20 or so pages into it. I would like to share this with
you at a later date if it isn't too much trouble. I know you are very busy...and
popular too. So thanks for reading... and writing so poignantly.
Shalom, Fellow Traveller,
Tim
