The Best Years Bed and Breakfast Inn

Hi. And welcome to the first bed and breakfast inn dedicated exclusively to midlifers and located completely in cyberspace. Whether you've come to have fun (most of us are here at least partly to play), to just get away, to discover and reaffirm your identity and passion in life, to recover from a loss, or to work through a midlife crisis; I'm glad you're here.

So put on some grubbies, take your shoes off, and stroll leisurely through the grounds. You'll meet some of my old friends here (people like Meg, Gordon, my sister D'Lynne and wife Charlotte) and my new ones (people like Susanne, Kathy, Truet, Dan and Alice). There's plenty of opportunity to visit with them and me, so come on in and look around. And be sure to sign the guest registry. We want to know who's walking these trails with us.

About 1 am this morning, I finally got around to reading Sat. and Sunday papers. We had Easter weekend company, so......busy ! As a baby boomer, born 1946, as enjoy your Midlife Moments column. As a former English teacher and now highschool librarian, I especially enjoyed your comments on "Mending Wall." I was so pleased to see how you related it to present day "walls and barriers" that keep us from enjoying life and relationships, etc. Robert Frost is my favorite American poet; even as a teen, I could understand the way he used Nature to describe Life.

I just wanted to say hello from Dumas (I work at West Texas High School in Stinnett) and let you know that you have a midlifer "fan" here ! I was going to write last night (1 am) but I had miles to go before I slept.

And miles to go before I slept.

Hi, I am a guest speaker for a woman's organization that wanted information on Men's midlife crisis. Your site provided me with information I plan on sharing with the group. Today's topics are varied: DISCIPLINE (CHILDREN/TEENS) AND MEN'S MIDLIFE CRISIS--IS IT REAL. THANKS FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE. I'm not sure how much I may visit your site, personally. Thanks again Chris

Hi, I know Kathy F. from Northern California. She recommend the site and I wanted to check it out.

I'm only 36, but feel that I have finally transitioned from my 20's to adulthood. I feel like a butterfly flying for the first time out of a cacoon.

I look forward to chatting on the site!

Thanks for the opportunity!

Pam
