Response: I'm a Truck Driver's Dad
My dad was a truck driver. He raised three children, sent two to private school, and we never were denied anything. We lived in a middle class community. I think we had a good life. Being a truck driver is good - it should not carry with it any stigma that it is not "good" enough. I think that every one who is doing a job and supporting themselves and meeting their responsibilities is doing well. You know happiness and contentment are very underrated in this culture. We are so much into status and what we look like to others. I am proud to say my dad was a truck driver and you should be proud of your son!! Thanks for listening.
