Welcome to Our Best Years with Mike Bellah, Ph.D.

Read a few chapters for free.

Hi. I'm Mike Bellah, and I really do believe that our middle years can become the best ones yet. That's why, for a number of years, I wrote "Midlife Moments"--little essays on various midlife topics, which appeared weekly in The Amarillo Daily News. You'll find serious midlife issues here, such as Overcoming Midlife Affairs or When Teens Rebel. Then, there are lighter pieces like Confessions of an Old Tuba Player and Finally Ready for Y2K. And, if you like nostalgia, check out "Everything I Ever Needed to Know in Life I Learned in Boy Scouts or My First Bicycle

You'll find all of my newspaper columns here (nearly 200), as well as links to shorter blogs I've written in more recent times.

If you or a spouse is feeling the pains of midlife, possibly the best stuff on Best Years is the oldest stuff on Best Years, including the Midlife Crisis Forum, The Questions and Answers Page, and The Midlife Moments Bed and Breakfast.

For more of my writings, visit mikebellah.com or my publisher's site, www.fortispress.com.

And, if you want to become a part of the ongoing conversations here at BestYears, check out the blog where my friend and life coach Sheryl Bullock shares insightful and uplifting thoughts several times a week.

About the memoir: Columnist Mike Bellah blends the tale of a tumultuous midlife crisis with a grueling mountain bike ride through the West Texas canyon lands, both journeys as full of laughter and grace as they are peril.

"Dream, plan and make it happen," says life coach Sheryl Bullock. Contact my friend Sheryl for a free initial consultation. Thank you for visiting the most content-rich, midlife site on the Web.
